Buddy's Story...
Buddy is a super-lovey boy! He was born to a momma cat who had been locked in an abandoned house. When she gave birth she was unable to produce milk, so Buddy has been bottle-fed since the day he was born.

Buddy is already a great lap-cat (well, he prefers to be perched up on your chest!). He is playful and energetic, and would be a great cat for a child or children who wants to give him all the attention he desires and deserves.

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a nonprofit non-sheltering rescue group established in July 2011. Our primary mission is to provide care and find adoptive homes for orphaned newborn kittens. Kittens we take in would normally be euthanized by shelters because of the constant attention required to give them proper care. We give these kittens a chance at a long, happy life.
Bottle-babies need to be fed every few hours, bathed almost daily, and shown plenty of affection so that they grow up well-adjusted and well-socialized. If you adopt a kitten from Little Orphans Kitten Rescue, you can be sure you are welcoming a happy, healthy, highly sociable kitten into your family!

Come Meet Our Pets...
All our kittens are in foster homes. Appointments can be arranged with the foster family for the kitten you're interested in.
Our Adoption Process...
Adoption fee is typically $75 for one kitten and $125 if adopting two kittens together. There is a comprehensive adoption questionnaire and agreement form. We require that all kittens adopted from us be kept indoors, be given full access to the home, and never be declawed.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Union Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Union, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Union.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union paves the way for another one to be saved.
