Little Nell's Story...
Little Nell Loves to play!
She was always hungry. The bigger cats got most of the food and because she was so small she had to take what was left. It wasn't always this way. She use to live in a home with a family and they made sure her little bowls always had food and water. She liked people because people live in places that were warm and have lots to eat. Since she lost her family, she spent most of her day looking for food. Each night she hoped she didn't have to go to bed hungry again. Sometimes she would sit outside a door and cry in hopes someone would feed her. Finally she found a friend and each night she got a plate of food. Then things got even better when a nice volunteer from The Cat Corner rescued her and gave her her very own bed and bowls. She was still scared but at least she was safe. Now Little Nell plays all the time; she will play ball with you and never seems to tire of batting the ball back to you. She loves attention and especially loves her feather wand toy. Little Nell is currently in a foster home. If you would like to meet her, call Betty at 757-722-0862
