Full of personality, pizazz and feline antics for the expereinced cat owner

Jasmine is a very poised, content, calm girl, most of the time!  She has a fiesty streak that is quite entertaining, if you are not one to be intimidated by cats showing their wild side... What do I mean? She mostly likes to sit quietly and watch her world, though occasionally it's as if there is fire under her paws and she takes off running and pouncing on invisible mice. She also loves to chase her own tail!  She loves playing with toys, especially balls.  At times, she can get funny about being petted.  She loves attention and will come sit beside you quietly, waiting to be stroked, but then, pet for too long and your hand will become game for a wrestling match. She can get rough and I have been working with her to understand there is a  limit to how much of her feline wildness is appropriate. She does like to be picked up and draped over a shoulder.  For some reason this position does not elicit any of the fiestiness and seems to have a calming effect. She is slow to warm up to her peson, though will eventually turn her attention to you, follow you and want to be near you.   She had been living outside with a large colony of feral cats and was most likely dumped or found a place with this group because the food source.  She is now happy to be inside and loves to curl up up her blanket, though her wild side makes me think she would do well in a home where she would have access to the outdoors.  Becaue she was trapped in a feral colony and there was a possibility of her being returned, her ear was tipped to mark that she has been spayed.  When we discovered how sweet she is, it was decided that she needed to be put in a loving home. Despite the ear tip, she is a very pretty girl. She is spayed, FIV-, FeLV-, and has had her shots.   She doesn't like most other cats, some that are more submissive in nature are ok, but dogs are ok.  She would do best in a single cat home or with a dog.  Because she can play rough, she should not be around young kids and would do well with an expereinced cat owner.  She is availabe for adoption immediately.  For information on adopting Jasmine, please contact katlivigston04@gmail.com
