I am a Shelter Pull Kitty! This means that when you adopt me, FOF can save another kitty from a high kill county shelter.' Feather is one of dozens of cats we have saved from death at a county shelter in the past year. Although we are not in the habit of pulling cats from shelters, (we are usually full with our own rescues) we do what we can to help. Feather was dropped off by her owner along with another adult cat. When she first arrived here to FOF she was very shy and aloof. We were able to place her in a foster home recently where she has thrived. We see this with many cats; they really come out of their shells in a 'home' environment. She enjoys the company of other cats and is even sleeping on the bed with the foster parents now. Feather is still a very young adult at less than 2 years of age, and has a lot of life yet to live. We would love to see someone with a multi cat household and time to bond with her give her a chance!
***Update: Feather is once again being housed in our adoption center. Please come and meet this gem of a cat--she really wants to go home!
