I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Hi, my name is Samantha. Aren't I gorgeous? My foster family thinks I look like a bobcat! I have little tufts on my ears and my tail is bobbed (probably from an accident when I was a kitten, but now it just makes me look distinguished, I think.) I was living on the streets of Brooklyn when I had a beautiful little kitten. I decided then and there that the streets were no place for me and came to visit a caring woman in Canarsie. She couldn't keep me, but knew that I would make great companion for someone. So she brought me to Brooklyn Animal Action and here I am!
My beautiful kitten has been adopted, so now I’m looking for my own forever home. I am a total hoot to be around. I’m very playful and mischievous--I can't stand a closed door and will chase after anything that moves. I’m always investigating and looking for ways to have a good time. But I also love people and follow my foster family around the house like a puppy. I also love being petted and cuddled and spend a lot of time hanging out with my foster family on the couch, in bed, etc. I would be great for someone looking for a fun, entertaining companion. I’m generally fine with other cats and would probably be OK with a dog as well.
I’m about a year old, spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, up to date on shots, dewormed and deflead. All ready to go home with you!
If you’d like to meet me, please contact Sheri, at BAAadoptions@gmail.com.
Thanks so much for thinking of a rescued kitty!

Rescue Group Info...
We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.
Please email us at BrooklynAnimalAction@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued cats.
Interested adopters can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt one of our animals, they must fill out an adoption application. If that is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for a donation to help us continue our work.
Primarily Brooklyn, New York but also the rest of New York City.
