Chili's Story...
Meet Chili! He's the sweetest little orange tabby and white kitten. Chili Is still a little shy, but he is coming around to be a lovely kitten. He has had a tough beginning. He is rather independent but loves playing with his littermates, and will take his turn on a lap, and purr, like all little kittens do.

Chili is in a foster home with other kittens, Eva and Nala; some big cats, and some dogs. There are children who come visit, too.

He would do well being adopted with another kitten, because we always know that 2 kitties are 2x the fun!
Chili has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has been de-wormed and flea treated, and also has been tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV viruses. Adoption fee is $85.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chili, a Kansas City Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Kansas City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Kansas City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kansas City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kansas City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kansas City paves the way for another one to be saved.
