Winston's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Winston's Story...
If you are looking for a sweet and scruffy dog, Winston is the guy for you! We think Winston is mostly cairn terrier but his legs are a bit longer than the standard. He is a playful, yet independent little fellow and is quite curious. He loves to learn new things and takes his time exploring the yard. He seems to like other dogs just fine and as you see from the picture, he doesn't have any problems with cats. Winston is not quite a year old and weighs 13 lbs. He is crate-trained and housebroken. He is neutered and up to date on his shots; is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventative.
Please write us for an adoption application and let us know if you have any questions about this truly neat dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winston, a Mocksville Cairn Terrier/Australian Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Australian Terrier for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Australian Terrier dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Australian Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Australian Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
