Rosalee's Story...
Rosalee is a female pit mix who is about 1 1/2 years old and should weigh about 40 pounds. A beautiful red-nosed female pit, you can tell from her pictures that she has had her share of scrapes in life. Very responsive to people, loving and friendly and showed no aggression to the caged cats. She is fairly good on a leash, and loves everybody.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosalee, a Brookville American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Brookville, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Brookville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brookville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brookville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brookville paves the way for another one to be saved.
