My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Casey. 2 yo Cream & White Persian/Selkirk Rex
Casey and his buddy, Cato, were dropped in a local animal shelter.
Both boys were scheduled for euthanasia and all of the Persian
Rescues were full. By a stroke of luck, we were able to find a foster
home at the last minute. A wonderful volunteer named Jorge drove
these guys 5 hours round trip to help them get safely to Rescue. We
were so surprised to see what darling boys they are. Their shelter
pictures didn't do them justice. Even now, they aren't as lovely as
they will be once their coats have grown in fully.
Casey "might" be a Selkirk Rex. We have only just seen them recently,
but it's looking like he's going to have the curly coat of a Selkirk.
A Selkirk Rex is pretty much a Persian with a curled or wavy coat.
We'll know more for sure once his coat grows in. For now, just know
that he's precious, as well as handsome. Casey is shy in a new
environment but warms up really quickly, and wants very much to have
a family of his own. He'd enjoy going to a home with Cato, but that
is not a requirement. He does do well with other nice cats, and we're
getting a feel for how he does with dogs.
