Ramona's Info...
| Breed: | American Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier Mix | Color: | Gray/Silver/Salt & Pepper - With White | Age: | Young |
| Size: | Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg) | Sex: | Female |
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Meet Ramona! Ramona was found by Good Samaritan who also offered to foster her if ACPB could support her. We just couldn't resist taking in this beautiful, adoptable girl with a foster offer as well. After some time getting to know her more, Ramona's foster dad has been impressed with Ramona's intelligence and loving personality.
Ramona is an outdoorsy and athletic girl and loves to run, sprint, and hike. After she has enjoyed her outdoor activities, Ramona is very quick to calm down and has wonderful house manners. Ramona is amazing around adults and kids; she is very affectionate and loves to cuddle and sleep. Ramona would do well in a family as the only dog, or with a doggy sibling as well. Ramona has come a long way from street dog to family dog in a short period of time, and she is ready for her forever family.
Please email adopt@angelcitypits.org if you are interested in adopting or finding more about Ramona.

Mission: Angel City Pit Bulls is creating a better future for pit bulls by promoting their positive image as loving family companions through education, public advocacy, adoptions and responsible pet ownership.
Goal: To reduce the number of pit bull terrier type dogs in animal shelters by increasing adoptions, providing community education to increase owner retention, and participating in targeted spay/neuter programs. As a member of the NKLA Coalition, it is our goal to be an integral part of making Los Angeles no-kill.
History: Angel City Pit Bulls is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 2010 to address the problem of overpopulation and high euthanasia rate of pit bull terrier type dogs in Los Angeles area shelters. ACPB continues to evolve through the efforts of dedicated pit bull owners, educators, rescuers, and supporters working together to respond to the challenges facing pit bulls in our community.
We hold monthly information sessions at our Mobile Adoption Event in West Hollywood on the first Saturday of each month.

Hope to see you soon!
Angel City Pit Bulls has dogs that fall under the generic term 'pit bull' who demonstrate stable, fun, people-oriented, outgoing personalities- making them fantastic family dogs. We have a wide range of energy levels, so whether you are looking for a running partner or a potential “therapy dog”, we will typically have a dog that will fit the bill.
Our goal is to provide adopters with the best possible adopter-dog match and we will work with you to find a dog that is right for your situation. Most of the ACPB dogs live in multi-dog foster homes, and enjoy the company of other well-matched dogs and some even with well-matched cats. We are happy to assist with family pet introductions.
To get started, we will ask that you to fill out a brief questionnaire and we'll set up a meet and greet for the dog(s) you are interested in. When you are ready to move forward with the adoption, we will arrange a home delivery to help you get settled in with the newest member of your family.
Resources, support, and education are always available, and you can expect an extensive level of knowledge and support from ACPB for the lifetime of your dog.
We ask for an adoption donation of $200 for dogs over 6 months old, and $300 for a puppy under 6 months old. This non-taxdeductible contribution assists us in continuing our mission to help more dogs in need.
