Mocha 0463's Story...
She is one of a kind, chocolate in color with the brightest light brown eyes!. Although she has a severe heart murmur, you could never tell by the amount of energy she has. Since she does have a medical issue her life expectancy will be considerably shorter than what would be the average age for the breed. Her heart will deteriorate with time. She is a loveable, cuddly, and friendliest dog toward, children, other large dogs and even some cats. You will have to remember that she is a puppy still and will do those puppy things

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mocha 0463, a Columbus German Wirehaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Wirehaired Pointer for sale in Columbus, or seeking a German Wirehaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Wirehaired Pointer breeders who help with German Wirehaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
