Mitzi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Mitzi's Story...
Arf, arf and welcome!! If you are seeing me listed here on Ohio Hound Rescue's Adoptapet, it is because I have already been saved from death row. And I'm now living in foster care.

It's nice here, but I still need a family of my own. And I want to make room for another death row doggy to be rescued. So, I need you to adopt me!!

I have had all of my vet care done. I'm heartworm negative, up to date on shots, spayed or neutered and dewormed/ deflead.

Here in my foster home I am crate trained/ housebroken. I'm learning to walk on a leash. And I have been evaluated to make sure I get along with other dogs.

My adoption fee is $225. That helps pay for the care I have received, plus my microchip and USDA travel certificate.

I can be transported to eastern PA, NY, CT, VT or NH via www.rescueriderstransport.com for an add'l $135. (Or you can come and get me!)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mitzi, a Buffalo Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
