Monty's Story...
What an angel this little boy is! Monty is a 9 year old min pin / chihuahua who has an exceptionally low-key and docile personality; he's so quiet and inobtrusive that it's easy to forget he's around at times. But if you will call him then take the time to pick him up and hold him close, he will relish every minute of it. Because he's wiry and only weighs 10 lbs, he easily fits into the crook of your arm ... and will contentedly stay there as long as you'll let him. And it's impossible to resist his charming little underbite! Monty's adoption fee is $100; he's neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monty, a Indianapolis Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
