Winston's Story...
Winston is a relaxed, happy, loving boy. He loves to hang out with his family and to go for walks. He is 16 weeks old, fully vetted (fixed, microchipped, and full shots). He is on the lower energy side and would be great for a family with kids and/or other pets. He loves being with other dogs and is very playful. He has been socialized with kids, cats, large and small dogs. He is crate trained, almost house broken, and is working on his basic commands. He knows how to sit for a cookie! Winston will make some family a very good companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winston, a Houston Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
