Olivia's Story...
Hi! My name is Olivia and I am a beautiful little Yorkie girl who is 1 ½ years old and I weigh 5 lbs. I was so matted that my rescuer had to shave all of my hair off but I will be just gorgeous when it grows out. I am very sweet and live to snuggle with my foster Mom at night and would just love to live in a lap. I have also been debarked so the only sound I can make is a little squeak which makes me defenseless. I need a stay at home parent and no children under 10 years old and I will be your little lover forever. Please ask for me on your application to www.breederadoptions.org.

Love, Olivia 102112-21

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia, a Johnstown Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Johnstown, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Johnstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Johnstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Johnstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Johnstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
