Hiiii! My name is Dana. I'm just over a year old. July, will make it a year that I've been staying here at the shelter. I'm up to date on my vaccines and I've already been spayed. I've got a little bit of an over-bite, but the people here at the shelter think it's cute. I'm a very affectionate young lady, I love kisses, hugs and belly rubs. Oh! Don't forget about walks! Long walks. ;] I'm dreaming of a family that has a big fenced in yard that I can play in. A yard and family that I can call my own. If you'd like to be that family, please come by the shelter and meet me. I'd certainly enjoy that.

Our buisness hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 3pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dana, a Manning Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Manning, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Manning.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manning already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manning breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manning paves the way for another one to be saved.
