Marie's Story...
THIS IS AN ASSISTED PLACEMENT! For more information or to adopt Marie, please contact Nancy at n_hasse@cox.net.

Marie was born in early November of 2011. She is still very much a puppy. She has a lot of energy and loves to play ball (as long as you don't mind that she won't bring it back). She is great with kids and other dogs. Her favorite play toy seems to be living grasshoppers. Marie is crate trained but she did have an issue with her dog bed. She ate it. She was housebroken before she was adopted but has not been thoroughly checked out since she has been back in foster care. She knows "sit" but "stay" is a foreign language to her. She is very sweet and will make someone a great companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marie, a Newcastle Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Newcastle, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Newcastle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newcastle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newcastle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newcastle paves the way for another one to be saved.
