Carlos's Story...
Carlos is a fun loving and playful little guy, he enjoys playing outside and loves to chase tennis balls. He gets along well with other dogs and is playfully interested in cats. He's a tall puppy and trips over his own feet a lot which is super cute, but not very coordinated! Carlos appears to be a hound mix, Mom clearly has beagle in there somewhere and he can definitely howl. He's working on potty training and is starting to get the idea that he should go outside. Carlos is a bouncy and affectionate puppy, he is happy to play for a little while and then fall asleep next to you.
Carlos is microchipped, neutered & up to date on his shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueahart.org if you'd like to meet him. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carlos, a Cincinnati Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
