Memphis's Story...
Memphis--short for Memphis Smoke--is a one year old lap cat. At 11 lbs, he is a big boy. He showed up at a front porch feeding station for stray cats, friendly and asking to be rescued. He is a very laid back, easygoing cat that loves to snuggle but is not overly demanding of your time and attention. He enjoys playing with his toys and getting his belly rubbed and has no issues going into his carrier or visiting the vet for check-ups and nail trims. He is litter box trained and knows to use his scratching posts. It would be hard to find a more easygoing, handsome and loving cat than Memphis Smoke.

If you would like to give Memphis a forever home please apply on line at Animal Aid Foundation Adoption and Foster Application

The adoption fee is $60 and includes: neuter, rabies, distemper, deworming and FELV/FIV testing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Memphis, a Rochester Hills Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester Hills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
