Sammy's Story...
Sammy is a small, energetic 1 & a half yr old lab who weighs about 40 lbs. He was taken to a kill shelter where we were able to rescue him just in time! Sammy loves playing with kids and adults, but needs some practice restraining his puppy energy at times. He is crate trained & housebroken, knows how to sit & is working on learning other commands and how to walk on a leash properly. Sammy is a very loving & sweet pup who needs an active family that has time to play with & exercise him. He would be an excellent family pet! If you are interested in meeting Sammy, please email, or visit to fill out an adoption application & we will contact you as soon as possible.

Sammy's adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinatons, microchip, rabies tag, neuter surgery, heartworm test & 1st month's flea/tick & heartworm preventative. Contact us to see how great this pup is for yourself!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a San Antonio Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
