Lilly's Story...
Lilly wants to find a family that will appreciate the love she has to give. She came to us very thin originally but has gained weight and looks great. She is petite in height and is a sweet little girl. She is great with kids and cats and while slow to warm up to strangers, she is a love bug when she finally does. Give her a treat and she will love you in a flash! She was a star at Adoption Day and is going to a foster home this week. Lilly needs a family that will be patient with her and allow her to develop into a great little golden. She is mostly if not totally housetrained. See her at www.adoptagoldenbirmingham.com, call 205 290-7788, or email lindsay@adoptagoldenbirmingham.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a BIRMINGHAM Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in BIRMINGHAM, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in BIRMINGHAM.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BIRMINGHAM already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BIRMINGHAM breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BIRMINGHAM paves the way for another one to be saved.
