Jose''s Story...
Jose' is a handsome 2 year old shepherd mix, tan with a black face and a bobbed tail. He was one of 3 dogs abandoned by their owners when the owners moved. Left on his own, he became a little wary of strangers, but he is now a healthy and happy young dog. Jose' now is about 45 pounds. He walks on a leash. He is friendly with everyone he meets. He loves to play with other dogs. Jose' is a happy boy when you look at him it seems as though he is smiling at you. He is a very sweet loving boy who is looking for somewhere to call home. He has been neutered and is up to date on all vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jose', a Centerville Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Centerville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Centerville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Centerville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Centerville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Centerville paves the way for another one to be saved.
