Youkie's Story...
This drop-dead gorgeous Great Dane is as nice as they come. Youkie is in need of a new home because of the impending arrival of twins. She is a very friendly dog and did quite well at a recent event that included loud music, lots of people and other dogs. Youkie is also quite affectionate and bonds quickly with those who take care of her. She was born in November 2007 and is in excellent health. Youkie travels well in the car and is always keen on a road trip to make new discoveries. If you love Great Danes, you will love the sweet personality of Youkie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Youkie, a Rigaud Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
