Mary is gentle, soulful, and sweet. A true lady. She is a healthy, active dog, who loves to run and go on long walks & hikes. She absolutely adores other dogs! She gets so well with other dogs it's heartwarming to see her with other pooches. A home with another canine pal would be perfect for her! If you're looking for a goofy, dog-park kind of pup, Mary is your gal!
Mary is a little shy and can be a bit fearful around new people. She takes her time to get acquainted, but once she does, she is the most loving and loyal dog in the world. She does need a secure yard. Mary loves to cuddle and just be close - you really couldn't ask for a better companion. Your time, patience, care and love will be rewarded tenfold! Also, fitting with her somewhat quiet and polite demeanor, Mary is soft-spoken, and rarely barks. She's a delicate flower.
Mary is healthy, spayed, up to date on shots, and housetrained. She's looking for a happy forever home where she will be cherished and cherish you in return. For more on Mary, please contact katyalidsky@gmail.com or sarahtaylor500@gmail.com or joncdaly@gmail.com

"Science may never comprehend the full extent of what dogs know about language, problem solving, the past, the future, God, time or philosophy. In the end, we must content ourselves with the fact that dogs know enough to be dogs -which is all that is really required of them." - Dr. Stanley Coren
Regardless of where a dog comes from, The Penny Foundation believes all dogs are worth saving, their "issues" are trainable, and people really can learn new tricks.
So whether it's from us or another rescue or shelter, Adopt Don't Shop! You can save a life!
