Strummer - COURTESY's Story...
Strummer is an amazing dog! He was rescued from a hoarder two years ago and has been living with a trainer since then who has worked to socialize and train him. He is about 3-4 years old and is very good with people, kids (the trainer has 2 young kids) and other dogs. He is leash trained and knows basic commands and his adoption fee will include a few lessons with the trainer. Strummer is an old soul - very mellow and he loves to chill. He was pretty beat up looking when we found him but now his coat is gorgeous and shiny and his eyes are so kind and hopeful. He weighs around 45-50lbs though he truly just wants to be a lap dog. He’s very special. Please email Melanie at MRamsayer@gershla.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Strummer - COURTESY, a Los Angeles Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
