My name is TUMNUS!

Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix Dog for adoption in Athabasca, Alberta - TUMNUS

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

TUMNUS's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

TUMNUS's Story...
Agility? Flyball? come on, are you telling me there is no one out there that is up for the challenge?

I am SUPER DUPER fast, SUPER DUPER smart, and SUPER DUPER Loveable! I am good with other dogs, but I do not care for them trying to steal my stuff. I am a Catahoula cross so I also do enjoy herding whenever I can (so far it has always been stuff that I am not allowed to herd....oops!). I am high energy, but driven to learn anything you want. I have the most amazing eyes, except I get scared when people look right into them. Sometimes I am shy at first, but my foster Mom says I am WAY better than I used to be.

TUMNUS is currently being fostered in Edmonton, Alberta

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TUMNUS, a Athabasca Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Athabasca, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Athabasca.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Athabasca already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Athabasca breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Athabasca paves the way for another one to be saved.
