Peaches's Story...
Peaches is a mellow girl who enjoys sleeping at your feet or following at your heels. She is very polite on leash, is offleash trained, and loves to visit Cherry Creek Offleash Dog Park, where she will bound around along side you. She is good with dogs of all sizes and ages. She is very trainable, and has already learned the hand signals for sit and shake (and also responds to the verbal commands). She comes when called. She is an absolute sweetheart (just like her brother) and has perfected the art of "puppy eyes". As a result of which she is a bit overweight (just needs to loose three pounds at this point) and is shedding the weight quickly. She follows her foster mom around the house while Jack rests, tired from his outings, on the bed they share. She would also make a great hiking companion!

Because these two have been together all their lives, they cannot be separated. They are very closely bonded, and would be miserable without each other. Besides, two seniors are better than one!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Denver English (Redtick) Coonhound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English (Redtick) Coonhound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Denver, or seeking a English (Redtick) Coonhound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English (Redtick) Coonhound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with English (Redtick) Coonhound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
