Abby's Info...

Abby's Story...
Abby is a Quaker Parrot approximately 5-10 years old. Abby’s previous owner had passed away and was subsequently abandoned by the living relatives. This never affected her attitude and has been affectionate and friendly from day one. She shows her affection by rubbing her face against your face makes these cute little popping sounds. (It reminds me of the popping noise Kramer from Seinfeld makes during see changes and intermissions.) Abby is an absolute doll and will be a great companion for the person lucky enough to adopt her. Check out the video of her running thru the laundry!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Tampa Parakeet - Quaker was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Parakeet - Quaker for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Parakeet - Quaker from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Parakeet - Quaker breeders who help with Parakeet - Quaker rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
