I am too cute for words! Hi Guys! My name is Bruiser. I am located in a foster home in LaFayette, AL. The rescue adopts to out of state homes. You would have to drive or fly in to meet me. I am tiny guy with a loving heart. I would love to give you kisses and sleep in your big bed… under the covers of course.. you know I am a Chihuahua! I promise to be a very good boy. You see I was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to the shelter. It was scary. Well they were going to put me to sleep because they say there are more homeless pets than homes. That is why more people need to adopt and not support those mean breeders, puppymills and pet stores. Oh, but how happy I was that these great people came and saved my life. They know all about us Chihuahuas and understand us! What was going to be my last day to live turned out to be a great one.. I am loving life! I had not had my nails cut in a very long time and my old owners poured motor oil all over me. They thought that motor oil would help my coat. They did not want to take me to the vet. I am looking for a new better life this go around.. one that is for life. I have been all cleaned up and am healthy. The Chihuahua rescue volunteers had the vet clean my teeth so I have nice white teeth J. I am a little under weight right now but that will not take long to fix. I love treats and bones. I should end up weighing about 4 pounds. I promise to be the most loyal dog you have ever owned. I am a good boy and have good house manners. You see I do not mark or go potty in the house. I am very small and need to be taken outside often. I am a good boy at bath time. I think that it is great fun to go for leashed walks. I am very good on the leash and will potty outside on one. I love to put my harness on and go to Petco. Oh, how fun car rides are. I am 2 years old. I am good with kids, dogs, and cats. I am in no way nippy or a biter. I wag my tail all day as I am such a happy little guy. I love to play and also sit in your lap! I am also crate trained but I don’t like to be locked up- I want to be with you. There is no reason to crate me, as I do not get into trouble. If you would like to meet or adopt me you better go to www.crar.org and fill out the adoption application right away because my foster mom says I will be snatched up really fast!
