Penelope "Nell" is a stocky built, gorgeous, 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier and she is all about love and affection. She is much more beautiful in person. Nell really has personality PLUS. Her favorite thing to do is sit in a chair next to you and smother you with her loving kisses. She will also clean your ears if you let her. She is good with most dogs, especially dogs her size or larger. She loves kids, playing ball, car rides and going for walks! Nell has a beautiful silver/fawn coat with a velvet texture. She is housebroken, spayed, micro-chipped and current on her shots. She will make a wonderful companion dog and a great family addition! Nell's perfect home would let her be the couch potato she is, have a fenced yard where she can run and play and a male companion dog who also loves to run and play. She is not good with cats. Welcome to Treasured Tails Canine Rescue. We are a volunteer based all breed dog rescue focusing on Riverside County and San Bernardino County animal shelters. The dogs we save from shelters are the ones in danger of euthanasia. Highly adoptable dogs lose their lives due to many reasons. Shelter over crowding, an easily treatable medical condition or injury, a dog who is extremely shy or frightened in the shelter environment or in many cases the dog is simply in need of a make over at the groomers. Once a dog enters our rescue he/she goes into a foster home where we can get to know that dog better which allows us to match the dog up with the right family. We do this for the love of dogs.

Our adoption process is as follows. An adoption application needs to be filled out so we know a little more about you and your home. This helps us match the right dog up with the right family. If it looks like a good match we will set up a time where the family can meet the dog and spend time together. It is required that all members of the household and their current dogs (if any) be present during the meet and greet. If things go well and the family decides to adopt, Treasured Tails will deliver dog to its new family on a day/time agreed upon by both parties.
Adoption fee is $200-$250 and that includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies. utd vaccinations and deworm.
An adoption contract must be signed by both parties upon adoption.
