Samantha's Story...
Meow! I’m Samantha, a cute little short hair calico kitten! My foster mom says it’s very hard to get a good photo of me - I love to be pet so much, the minute she gets close to me, I start to roll over and head-butt her hand.

I am very confident and outgoing, which is surprising considering I was recently found wandering at a very busy intersection! It was pretty scary and confusing with all the big delivery trucks going by, but I knew I could trust her and went right to her when she called me.

I LOVE having my head scratched, and I like to tell you what I'm thinking - I am a very chatty kitty! I like to follow my foster folks around and check out what they're doing, which they call “shadowing”. If you are interested in a kitty that will give you lots of attention, then I‘m the girl for you!

It's important that I am adopted into a home with another kitten or young cat. I currently live with a bunch of other foster kittens and cats that I love. I would be lonely without the kitty companionship. I was born on 03/02/07 and have been spayed, microchipped, have the first of two kitten vaccinations, FeLV/FIV tested negative, de-wormed and de-fleaed.

This adoption is through a rescue group and an adoption donation and home visit are required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a Los Angeles Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
