Peyton's Story...
Peyton is a young, approximately 1 to 1 ½ year old Maltese. This 6 ½ lb. little guy came from an LA Shelter. He is an easy going dog who enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs.
He was recently neutered, his shots are current, and he has a microchip. Now all Peyton needs is a loving family to share his love. His adoption fee is $300.00.
Peyton will be at the Unleashed by Petco store in Scripps Ranch, Nov. 4th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Our Adoption Process...
The first step in our adoption process is to submit an Application to Adopt which is available on our website at www.americanmalteserescue.org A telephone interview is conducted and references are checked. A home visit is performed prior to the adoption to determine a safe environment for a rescue Maltese. An appointment is scheduled for the interested family to meet the rescue dog. If all parties agree that the adoptive family and rescue dog is good match, then the adoption is finalized with the payment of the adoption fee. All medical records and shot records are provided to the adoptive family
