Hi everyone, my name is LIAM. I have been doing very well since I have been here at the Pound. I seem to get along with everybody, I do good on a leash. I am quiet and reserved but I am a good boy. Maybe you could come and see me and see what you think, we might be able to make something work out! Can't wait to meet you!

About Our Shelter...
The Columbiana County Dog Pound is a small, rural shelter in eastern Ohio. At one time, only a small percentage of the dogs entering the Pound made it out alive. Now, thanks to the vision of the County Commissioners, the Pound staff, and a dedicated group of volunteers, the Pound has become a source of hope. It is a place where lives are saved, not lost.

Columbiana was one of the first counties in the state to require that all dogs be spayed/neutered before leaving the Pound. This policy addresses the pet overpopulation problem at its source.

So take a look at our pooches and meet the dog of your dreams!

Monday - Wednesday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Thursday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Friday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Saturday: 9am to 12pm
Sunday: Closed.

Our Adoption Process...
The adoption fee is $100, which includes a DHLPP vaccine, a rabies vaccine, de-worming, an Ohio dog license, and spay/neuter surgery. Additional low-cost vet care is available upon request.

Approved rescue groups can pull dogs at reduced fees.

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Columbiana County, Ohio. The Pound is located in Lisbon, Ohio (an hour from Pittsburgh and 90 minutes from Cleveland).
