Gary O is a sweet boy that was found with a female boxer running the streets. He is in a foster home and has been learning lots! Mainly to learn to trust strangers which shows he may have had to fend for himself for quite some time. "I just graduated from AZ K-9 Partnership Basic Obedience Group Training Class. I know all my basic commands and do well on a leash, etc. I learned to swim this past summer and do best with my safety vest on. I've been called Goof or Goofy as I am a silly boy in the home and enjoy playing with my foster boxers (brother and sister) and love my toys. I am crate trained, house trained and know how to use a doggy door. I am still learning that it's okay to trust new people and once I am comfortable you will see my real personality." Structure and a calm environment are important in his forever home. "You can see from the pictures I am quite the handsome boy! Please ask your adoption counselor about me."

Boxer Luv Rescue has been rescuing Boxers throughout the Phoenix valley for 10 years! The organization's mission is to rescue stray, neglected, abused and unwanted Boxers throughout the valley, give them proper medical care and shelter and find that forever home that will keep them safe and loved for the rest of their days. We are an all-volunteer organization now rescuing over 300 Boxers each year. In this questionable economy the organization is on track to rescue more Boxers than ever and we need your help. We do an adoption event at that PetSmart location two times a month. Just check our website for directions and the next date we'll be there!
Boxer Luv Rescue requires all adopters to fill out an adoption application at www.boxerluv.org as the first step. The application is then reviewed and the applicant is contacted. If approved, a home visit is then scheduled and upon approval you are matched with the Boxer that best fits your family & home!
