Doodle's Story...
Doodle

Est. DOB: June 10, 2012
Description: DSH Black
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Doodle is such a funny, active, playful, busy boy! But he is also a sweet, purry snuggle-man once he has played himself out playing chase and wrestling with his sisters, and he even gives kisses to say thank you for giving him a good back-scratching!

Doodle is very dog-friendly and gets along great with the four labs (dogs) at his foster home, and he is careful to respect the space of the older cats who live there, too. Doodle is full of energy and fun and can't wait to go home to play with his forever family!

Doodle and his siblings were found as stray kittens.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doodle, a Apex Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Apex, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
