Jyl's Story...
Jyl and Jaq are chihuahua mix dogs who came to us as breeder release to rescue. They were said to be chihuahuas but have scruffy wire coats (which I love!). They turned one on October 21, 2012. Jaq is red and Jyl is black and white. They are both terrific little ones with great personalities. Jaq weighs 10 pounds and Jyl weighs 7 pounds. They DO NOT need to be adopted together. Frankly, it was just easier for me to use the same bio for each of them. Miss Jyl really works it when she's trying to show you how cute she is. She's also very interested in playing with other dogs. Jyl is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventative and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200 with all vet work done.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jyl, a House Springs Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
