Geoffrey The Red's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Orange Or Red Tabby | Age: | Kitten |
| Sex: | Male | Hair: | Short |
Geoffrey the Red is very friendly and not a bit skittish. He purrs a lot and is fine getting baths. Both playful and very loving, Geoffrey will curl up on your chest and read or watch TV with you, or he will happily chase and fetch his favorite toy ball. He will crouch and switch his tail and invite you to join the game. Around 5 months, Geoffrey is quite a baby still--wants to be mothered and snuggled. His face shape and body type suggest and American Shorthair background. Geoffrey is very laid back and easygoing. He is already microchipped, vaccinated and neutered; Blue's Mews will continue his vaccinations to complete the series. Please come see Geoffrey on Saturdays at Pet Supplies Plus in Kettering or make an appointment to come see him during the week. Call/text 937-271-1411 or email cat_rescue@earthlink.net
Rescue Group Info...
We are a small, grass-roots volunteer effort dedicated to easing the problems faced by unwanted Siamese cats and kittens and their non-Siamese cousins. We use foster homes for our animals to provide them with a warm and loving environment from which to be adopted; we give all of our animals excellent vet care to ensure they have a good start in life. We offer education and advice on cat care and cat behavior issues; we provide courtesy listings for adoptable pets for free on our web site. We provide support to indigent owners (emergency food and vet care assistance) as we are able and offer advice and assistance on resolving landlord pet issues (including ADA therapy pet designation). We are dedicated to making life easier for the animals who love and trust us and look to us for their safety, security, and happiness. The problems are large and we are small but we try hard to make a difference for cats at risk.
Donations may be sent to Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue, 273 Fairway Drive, Fairborn, OH 45324
We show our kittens at Pet Supplies Plus in Centerville and in Kettering on alternate Saturdays from 1 to 6 pm. We also visit Moochie and Co. at the Greene on the first Sunday of the month. We also show our animals in their home environments, by appointment, evenings and weekends.
Adoption requirements include an application that tells us something about the adoptive family and authorizes us to contact the family's vet for references, a phone or in-person interview, and at the director's discretion, home visitation. We provide an adoption contract that lists the animal's current and anticipated health care and delineates the owner's and our responsibilities. All cats and kittens have a 3-week health guarantee, in which we assume responsibility for vet care for any unrecognized or incubating health issues, and a 2-week satisfaction guarantee which provides a full refund for animals returned within the 2-week timeframe. Our adoption fees are $75 per Siamese mix or Siamese Wannabe and $100 per Siamese. Cats and kittens adopted in pairs are substantially discounted.
Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue is a small, volunteer-run, non-profit organization assisting Siamese cats, Siamese mixes, and Siamese wannabes (doesn't every cat want to be Siamese?).
We serve the greater Dayton/Fairborn/Beavercreek area (including, but not limited to, Montgomery, Greene, Clark counties)
