Bijou's Story...
Bijou is a precious little girl with a lovely colored dilute calico coat that she is proud to wear! Our girl is as inquisitive as a kitten which means she loves to explore! Bijou is very active, enjoying equal opportunity playtime with all sorts of toys. Bijou loves attention from her people, snuggling closely and purring loudly.

Bijou is very vocal, talking about all manner of subjects ranging from "How Are You?", "Let's Play", "I'm Hungry", "Please Pet Me", to "101 Reasons Why I Admire Garfield". Whatever it is that's on her mind, Bijou's enthusiastic meow is sure to capture your attention!

RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer run. Our focus is on the "kill lists." We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 9,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end the killing of the orphaned dogs and cats. Please consider adopting, volunteering or donating.

Our Adoption Process...
Fill out an online application, have an interview with a Matchmaker, if we are in philosophical alignment, set up a meet and greet and if all goes well finalize the adoption. Our service fee for dogs is $150 and $125 for cats. All our dogs and cats are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
