|Breed:||American Pit Bull Terrier Mix||Color:||Gray/Blue/Silver/Salt & Pepper||Age:||Puppy|
|Size:||Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)||Sex:||Female||ID#:||Lauren|
Peggy has had a rough start in life, but is now recovering with her loving foster mom. Peggy’s previous owners put socks on her feet secured with rubber bands and left them there far too long. The end result was her front/right foot & leg could not be saved and had to be amputated! They surrendered her when they realized the cost of amputation. She had a severe case of demodex mange, but has been treated - and as of last week, her skin scrape was finally negative! She has been spayed, is up to date on shots, and is looking for a loving fur-ever family that will cherish her and treat her with respect and kindness. Peggy is only 9 months old. She’s a pibble mix who loves to play. She’s great with other dogs, loves cats, and has an awesome disposition with people. Peggy is grateful to be alive, healing, and loved. If you’re looking for a new pup, Peggy is your girl! Please contact Lauren at firstname.lastname@example.org for adoption information. Orlando, FL

Catnip Trails has been supporting pet owners and homeless pets of central FL and beyond for 19 years. We offer free advice to help you keep that destructive, barking, furniture-scratching pet at home - and out of a shelter - because they all deserve a 2nd chance. We help people find appropriate resources but do NOT accept owner surrenders or strays.
For those seeking a pet for adoption, we'll be happy to help you find the perfect match from the thousands available in high-kill shelters.
Our adoption process begins with completing our application, meeting with a home visit volunteer, and having your references checked. All pets for adoption require an adoption fee which is unique for each pet.
Catnip Trails works through a network of foster homes to save many animals from high-kill shelters. Located in central FL, transportation to the RIGHT home is sometimes available.
