McCabe's Story...
Success is not measured by what you accomplish but by the opposition you have encountered and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds.
-Orison Swett Marden
McCabe, is a 3-4 year old buff and white male who was abandoned at a local shelter. Although he has a cataract in one eye, he seems to see fine out of the other one and has made the best of his situation. He appears as though he has had some struggles in his life but he is a happy little guy who is ready to forget about his struggles and move on to sunnier days. McCabe has recently suffered a few seizures, so he needs to hang around the Cocker Inn a while for observation and evaluation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McCabe, a Houston Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Houston, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
