Poppy - Courtesy's Story...
Poppy - 1 year old female yorkie/schnauzer mix. My name is Poppy, an adorable, playful and affectionate Mini Schnauzer Yorkie mix of one. I am 6 pounds of sweetness all rolled up into one cuddly package.Poppy was not the name that was given to me at birth but one that I received the day I was saved by two girls who saw me at the shelter. I sat at the shelter waiting for my owners to come, but they never did. I was very frail and frightened when I first came home with Sheridan and Kate. The sisters took me in, fed me, played with me and made sure I received a lot of love and attention. I love to play with my doggy foster brother, Fozzy Bear. We run around and chase each other all day. I have a squeaky rubber ball that I just love to chase. Once I have it in my mouth, I will make it squeak over and over and over again. I am great with children. I just stand there and let them pet me. When someone wants to pick me up, I just roll over on my side and give myself up to them completely. The sisters want you to know that I am housebroken, love to go on walks and enjoy rides in the car. I’m also crate trained. When everybody leaves to go to school or run their errands, I just settle down for a nap. I don’t bark when you leave and I don’t bark when you come back in. I just stand on my hind legs and wag my tail, hoping you will open the door so that I can run out and greet you. What I really need now is a forever family to call my own. If you are looking for a tiny lovebug that will shower you with lots of affection, please fill out an adoption application with mini schnauzer and friends and ask for me.If you would like to read more about me, please go to the facebook page the sisters created for me, "The Poppy Project."
