Bear's Story...
Bear is a very active young adult male dog. Bear was living in a home until his owner died 2 years ago and since then has been living outside in a yard with other dogs but would love to be an indoor pet again. Bear needs an active home where he can get the exercise he needs. Bear also needs an owner who will re-establish some basic manners with him. Bear is a very smart dog who is eager to please. Bear does well with most dogs, but would probably not do well with a dominant male dog. Please fill out an application if you feel you can make Bear part of your family today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Stow Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Stow, or seeking a Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Stow.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stow already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stow breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stow paves the way for another one to be saved.
