Corky's Story...
Arf! Arf! Hey there, my name is Corky! I'm a delightful gentleman whose estimated birthdate is October, 2007. I was found as a stray near Bear Creek, WI, in October, 2012 and brought to Happily Ever After in hopes of finding a forever home that would love me very much! At first glance I might appear to be mildly timid and shy, but once you earn my trust you will have a hard time getting me off of your lap! That's right, I'm quite possibly the sweetest little lap dog that ever lived. And honestly, who can resist my one floppy ear!? If you have a quiet home and some gentle patience, then this might just be a match made in heaven! I hope you stop by HEA soon to meet me so that I can have a forever home of my own very soon! Smooches, Corky

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Corky, a Marion Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Marion, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
