11/3 These are two purebred chihuahuas who were rescued from a puppy mill. They have been in a foster home for several months now are doing great. They will be spayed later this month. They will be needing a furever home, hopefully together, after that. Panda (on left) does not see well, despite treatment of an eye condition, and she takes her cues from Tinky. They are both quite dependant on each other after being together their whole lives and are still timid of strangers. They are crate trained and eating a holistic pet food and look years younger than when they went into foster care. They are both 4-6 yo and weigh under 10 lbs each. They were very friendly toward their previous owner. They have really come out of their shell for their foster fairly quickly, but are still a little timid of strangers. All pets are sterilized, vaccinated, heartwormed checked,microchipped, vet checked, and arrive w/veterinarians certificate of health. Transportation is available south and northeast.

We pull pets from the southern "kill shelters" and bring them north once they have been adopted. We are a foster based group. Our animals are fostered in VA and NC.

All our pets are fostered at the southern branch of our rescue in SW VA. They are either at our location or fostered in homes in VA and NC.
We have other transporters who can deliver to more northern homes. We have a VERY cost effective transporter.
Notice: We reserve the right to back out of an adoption AT ANY POINT that we feel we have just cause to take such action. In the event that WE DECIDE that we don't want to follow through with the adoption we will refund the fees in full to the person in question.

We require a pre screen application and contract once approved. Our adoption fee varies depending on the animal. We require a $75.00 holding deposit on all animals once you are approved to adopt. We are a foster based group. Our pets are fostered in VA and NC. They are brought up once they are adopted. We can provide access to low cost transportation for our adopted critters.
All animals over 6 months old are altered before they leave. Any pet under 6 months the adopter is responsible for altering. We can offer low cost spay neuter vouchers for most areas. It is the adopters responsibly to make sure that their area vets accepts the vouchers. All animals will be current all age appropriate vaccinations and tests. All pets will be micro-chipped IF we have the chips available. The adopter gets all the vet records with the pet.

The average adoption fee is $275.00
When we list a courtesy listing for a fellow rescue partner we have no control over the adoption fees that they charge.
