My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Betsy is a very gentle, good girl! She lived on the Indian Reservation and her family turned her into the police out there when they ran out of food for her and her puppies. She came to us with her 8 month old male puppy and two 8-week old female puppies. She is the most gentle mother dog I have ever seen! Not only were Betsy's own puppies too old to be nursing off of her when she came, but we also had 10-week old Queensland heeler puppies that decided some milk would be great! I was shocked that she let them nurse off of her, and she never snapped at one pup! Usually mom's let the pups know that enough is enough, but Betsy is just too nice to do that! She is very well behaved and has a nice, mellow personality. Betsy is crate-trained, house-trained and dog door-trained. She sleeps on a dog bed in the bedroom and doesn't make a peep at night. Betsy loves our two young children and gets along with all of our big and small dogs. We do not have any cats, but I am sure she would be fine with them too. She is 55 lbs and estimated to be about a year and a half old. Betsy will make a wonderful addition to a loving home! Betsy's adoption fee is $150 and that includes spay, microchip, DAPP & rabies vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Betsy, please contact Delon.Washo@asu.edu or 602-295-4518.
AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue would like to remind everyone that puppies are a big commitment and require a lot of attention. Puppies often exhibit undesirable behaviors such as chewing and digging. Of course they also are a lot of fun and are very lovable too. When choosing a puppy please consider how much time you will be able to spend training and socializing your new puppy.
