Taz's Story...
FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID

Taz is a 6 month old domestic short hair who is in search of a new home! Taz and his siblings were taken into Fuzzy Pawz Rescue foster care when their people could no longer care for them.
Taz weighs in at 9 pounds. He is a beige tinged mackerel pattern tabby with gold eyes. His fur is thick and soft and he has cute tufts of fur at the tips of his ears.

Taz is the leader of the pack. He is the most adventurous and relaxed of his siblings. He is always the first one to try new things and the others watch to see how it goes for him before they try it. He lives up to his name when you bring out the toys - he turns into a little Tasmanian devil! He loves playing with 'Da Bird' and is very athletic - he does some amazing leaps and flips in the air! When he catches it he will growl at 'Da Bird' and try to run off and eat it. Good thing it's attached to a string! It’s very funny to watch! He loves any and all toys – including empty boxes and rolled up balls of paper.

Taz is very busy and social. He is always looking for something or someone to play with. With his busy schedule he doesn’t usually like to be held for too long. He checks up on us periodically throughout the day, sitting and watching whatever we are doing – or cuddling up for some snuggles and purrs. He is a happy go lucky cat who loves everyone and will put up with being carried around, having his belly rubbed and all sorts of things without getting stressed or getting his claws out. For this reason I think he would be good with kids over the age of 5. Taz loves to cuddle and play with his brother Axl – to watch birds through the window, or the fish in the fish tank.

Taz is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He uses the litter box and scratching posts.
If you are interested in adopting Taz please fill out the adoption application at http://www.fuzzypawzrescue.com/adoptionapplication.htm.

There is a $20 adoption fee to help defray the cost of his neuter and vaccinations.

If you are looking to adopt more than one kitten at a time please check out brother Axl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taz, a Boise Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Boise, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
