Trixie's Story...
Trixie is a beautiful, purebred Yorkie, who was given away by a breeder who no longer wanted her. Thankfully Trixie was brought to us by the Good Samaritan who took her in. Trixie is approximately 2 years old and is a super sweet little girl who only wants love. She weighs about 6lbs and is the perfect size to dress up and pack around in a purse :)

Trixie is scheduled to be spayed soon. She will be spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm tested prior to adoption. Please email bettinav@hotmail.com with any questions. If you are interested in adopting Miss Trixie, please email a completed application to bettinav@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Hazard Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Hazard, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
