Pixie's Story...
Meet Miss Pixie. Pixie was found as a stray and was brought to us by a concerned citizen. Poor Pixie is so starved you can see all of her little ribs. She weighs in at about 6lbs. Pixie is approximately 2 years old and looks like a purebred Yorkie but she does have a natural tail. She is very friendly, vocal and loves everything and everyone! She is the perfect size for a traveling companion and would fit nicely in a purse.

Pixie will be spayed, vaccinated, given dewormer, flea preventative and heartworm tested prior to adoption. If you have any questions about Pixie, please email bettinav@hotmail.com. If you are interested in adopting Pixie please complete and adoption application and email it to bettinav@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie, a Hazard Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Hazard, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
