Skittles is Fearless's Story...
Skittles is the most amazing little kitten! We’ve never seen such an energetic little guy. Saying “he loves to play” is such an understatement – he’ll zip around the room turning anything into a toy! Skittles is fearless – he faces down cats five times his size and tries to make them play with him. And he’s not intimidated if they spit or yell at him – he just keeps on going! This tiny little thing is great with kids, and he’d be fantastic with cats or dogs. He’s just the best!

Skittles is around 8 weeks old. He’s healthy, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and has had his first set of shots.

If you’d like to meet this tiny ball of energy, please contact Sheri, at BAAadoptions@gmail.com.

Thank you so much for thinking of a rescued sweetheart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skittles is Fearless, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
