Athena's Story...
Hi there! My name is Athena..and I think it fits quite perfectly! I'm a gorgeous little goddess whose estimated birthdate is July, 2012. I came to live at Happily Ever After when I was a little baby with my mom and siblings (Hera, Hades, Poseidon, and Prometheus). We spent some wonderful time in foster care where we learned how to be cuddly, snuggly, purring machines! Now we're all big enough to find forever homes of our very own! I sure do hope that you stop into HEA to meet my siblings and I soon! Snuggles, Athena **Athena is currently located hat HEA's Green Bay Adoption Center, 2065 Holmgren Way. The Adoption Center is open weekdays from 6-8 pm, and weekends from 11 am-4 pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Athena, a Marion Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Marion, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
